I set off to explore this megacity….

If you’ve read my post Onion City, you would know how much I hated Delhi once upon a time…Lucky for me a friend dragged me to the Bijai Mandal and Begumpur Masjid in south Delhi one Sunday, and literally opened my eyes. I was so awestruck by the ruins around me, and even more by the stories I read in a slew of books that followed, that I was a complete convert. Soon cushy corporate job and all the associated hang-ups were forgotten…and I began a fresh episode wandering the streets of Delhi and learning its stories galore. And when I saw what a wealth of experiences lies just around the corner of the malls and markets, I decided to write this blog. It is a tiny attempt to share the stories and hidden gems of this amazing city with fellow denizens and travelers.

Update: Nearly a year has gone by since I started this blog, and though I have not been as regular as I intended to be, you my dear readers have made this a very rewarding experience.  Thank you! As I currently traverse the exciting path of entrepreneurship along with a couple of old friends from B-school, travelling and Delhi-watching continue to give me solace.
