A Step away from Heaven| Taj Mahal, Agra

August is a month of holidays, and everybody I know is busy making plans for those long weekends that are just waiting to be lapped up! If you haven’t yet planned anything fun, you might just have a really hard time booking anything at this point. But worry not, folks. If you are in Delhi you know you are only a step away from heaven! Yep, the Taj Mahal awaits you with all its splendor. And even if you’ve been there umpteen number of times, a quick drive down the amazing Yamuna Expressway will take you zooming down to Agra for a refreshing look at the most beautiful monument in the world!

Thanks to Prashi for these gorgeous images of the Taj Mahal at Agra.

Yeah, especially now that the journey, too, has changed from a long, laboured, tiring one to an amazingly swift drive!

  2. Still yet to make the journey. One day…one day…

Hopefully very soon Ken. Nothing can prepare you for the magic of that first glance at the Taj!

I have visited this beauty twice, both instances were awe-inspiring. But I dearly wish to see the Taj bathed in moonlight when they say its beauty is paramount.

What do you think, dear reader?
