I was dragging a friend along to take a peep into the Agrasen ki Baoli near CP, when I stumbled upon Lord Ganesha himself 🙂

Did you see the musical/play ‘Badshah Rangeela’? It is about Delhi as it was in the age of Muhammad Shah Rangeela- a city about to be sacked by Nadir Shah.
I saw it about a week ago and liked it very much, especially the gorgeous, well-rehearsed ‘kathak’ bits. The play contains classics like mian ki malhar ( ‘muhammad shah rangiley re sajna, tum bin mai ka’) and ‘aaj more ghar aaela balma’ composed by Muhammad Shah’s favorite musician duo Sadarang-Adarang.

That sounds amazing! Haven’t seen it unfortunately…and looks like it’s over for now 😦 Particularly interested also because I love Kathak and used to dance myself!
