A Delhi belle looks through the array of jewellery on display at Dilli Haat, the city’s hot spot for all things fashionable, ethnic, and earthy. One of Delhi Tourism’s most successful ventures, this food-and-crafts bazaar has charmed city folk since ’94. It has already been replicated at Pitampura, and other clones are planned soon at Janakpuri and Gurgaon.

I haven’t seen the Pitampura one…is it as good?
Dilli Haat — always wanted to see it. That’s a good shot.
Thank you dnambiar. I do hope you get an opportunity soon to see it for real 🙂
Lovely shot! 🙂
Dilli Haat was one place that we managed to visit, along with India Gate, Lodi Gardens, Red Fort, the Daryaganj books market, Raj Ghat, the Lotus Temple, Kutub Minar and then finally the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
Not bad at all for a short trip to India 🙂 Dilli Haat is a relatively recent addition to the tourism scene here, but one that most tourists love a lot because of the single-stop access to crafts from all over the country. Did you get some cool stuff for folks back home?
Errr… I live in India only, in Bangalore. Just came down to Delhi for a few days as the hubby had some work there. He worked, I roamed. 🙂
Ahh yes, just went through your blog, my bad 😛 I have been to Bangalore only once, for only two days…so never really got to see anything of the charms people talk about. By the way, really liked your site, too…Now I need to make some time to go through all your posts 🙂
